At ALIGN, we blur the lines between a physical therapy practice and a training studio, with a clientele as nuanced as each session. Our clients range from those looking to get out of chronic pain to elite level athletes looking to level up their training. While their stories are varied, there is one common thread: To correct a neurological disconnect between brain and body. Once the individual restores agency with their body can they begin to optimize performance. 

ALIGN was founded by Christopher Rodousakis, who battled scoliosis pain for years before earning his degree in kinesiology. Once he introduced soft tissue manipulation into his training regimen, he discovered the missing element within his own somatic alignment. Living pain-free for the first time in years, Christopher founded ALIGN in 2014. The initial goal? To get the latest fascial research out into the hands of the community. Over time, ALIGN evolved into three pillars all housed under the same roof—a training studio, applied research facility, and education hub—all through a fascial lens.

Ten years since our founding, we are the only fascial remodeling studio in Washington, DC. Our mission continues to be to distill and democratize fascial research. As intellectually curious practitioners who treat and train equally curious humans, continuing education is a cornerstone of our studio. With partners across the globe, we seek to change healthcare and high performance training methods through application of peer reviewed research.
